Monte-Carlo SBM was established in 1863 and the company opened the world’s first integrated resort in Monaco. 150 years of history have helped build the Monte-Carlo brand. The facility has received global acclaim, incorporating the highly sophisticated “Hotel de Paris”, the “Monte-Carlo Thermes Marins” wellness facility, which includes one of the most beautiful spas in Europe, and the “Casino de Monte-Carlo”, said to have inspired Ian Fleming’s first James Bond novel “Casino Royale”. It also features Michelin-star restaurants and luxury shopping facilities.
Every year millions of tourists visit Monaco to relax by the Mediterranean and to enjoy world-famous sporting events including the Monaco Formula One Grand Prix. Monte-Carlo SBM is a long-time supporter of the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters Tennis tournament and the AS Monaco soccer team.

The company has benefited from a more than 10-year partnership with Okura Hotels and Resorts, one of Japan’s best-known hotel groups. GEG is the only integrated resort operator partnering with a Japanese hotel company. The Hotel Okura Macau is Okura’s most successful property.
