Strategic partnership with Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer
GEG has a partnership with the world-renowned Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, which operates an iconic luxury resort in Monaco; a partnership we will leverage to promote IR development in Japan.
Société des Bains de Mer
Monte-Carlo SBM was established in 1863 and the company opened the world’s first integrated resort in Monaco. 150 years of history have helped build the Monte-Carlo brand. The facility has received global acclaim, incorporating the highly sophisticated “Hotel de Paris”, the “Monte-Carlo Thermes Marins” wellness facility, which includes one of the most beautiful spas in Europe, and the “Casino de Monte-Carlo”, said to have inspired Ian Fleming’s first James Bond novel “Casino Royale”. It also features Michelin-star restaurants and luxury shopping facilities.
Every year millions of tourists visit Monaco to relax by the Mediterranean and to enjoy world-famous sporting events including the Monaco Formula One Grand Prix. Monte-Carlo SBM is a long-time supporter of the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters Tennis tournament and the AS Monaco soccer team.
Partnering with international brands
GEG has been working to develop the world’s best integrated resorts with the support of domestic and international partners.
The company has benefited from a more than 10-year partnership with Okura Hotels and Resorts, one of Japan’s best-known hotel groups. GEG is the only integrated resort operator partnering with a Japanese hotel company. The Hotel Okura Macau is Okura’s most successful property.
GEG is proud to be partners with other world-renowned hotel brands, including Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott and Banyan Tree Resorts.
